Lee 6-cavity moulds, a .308 dual cavity mould for .300 Blackout, a pair of handles, sizing dies and a Lee hardness tester.

I picked up some good quality, second-hand dual cavity moulds, RCBS and Lyman. Completely unnecessary, as the Lee moulds cover all the calibers, but cool to have.

This represents the value equivalent of one year's spend on CMJ bullets.

The cost saving in bullets alone is countered by the time and effort involved. If time and effort is costed, then it's cheaper to buy bullets.

Casting is worth looking into if you are a high volume shooter, a tinkerer that does not fancy watching TV, and you want to shoot even more for the same amount of money.

You might not actually save money, because you'll end up shooting more : per shot it's cheaper.
