Obsolete Powder Hopper Substitute

Had this old powder measure body in a corner gathering dust. It's for pistol powders, and can dispense from 1 grain to 20 or so grains at a time.

No idea where it came from. It has no name on the body, the hopper is missing, and the hopper size is not Hornady, Redding or Lyman.

To start with, I fitted an old .45 ACP steel sizing die to drop powder through. The knurl was sanded down to press fit onto the body.

The idea is to use a readily available container as a powder hopper. The mouth of a plastic honey jar is the right size to go into the body, but there are no threads on the body to be able to screw the jar into.

Not a problem, epoxy putty when applied will set into threads for the jar.
