ELR Build - Lessons Learned   Purpose Specific Rifle   The Powder   Lessons Learned   Lessons Applied

My new build is a .338 Edge, using 305 grain, 1.02 G1 monolithics and N570 powder, which GRT says should give 100% burn in a 30" barrel.

The stock is from the previous build, and because it's fiberglass, it is able to be modified by the manufacturer to meet the criteria listed previously.

The action is a single shot RSA, with a 40 moa rail.

I will be using an adjustable rail to provide an additional 100 moa of elevation.

The Edge is a more efficient ELR cartridge than the 375 RUM, because the largest available 375 monos, 338 grain, have a G1 of 0.67 , but the Edge has a couple hundred fps advantage in addition to the much higher BC.

The bipod remains as is.
