Ysterhout Dot Net

This is a HTML form based tool to illustrate the cost of reloading of rifle cartridges, versus buying factory ammo.

You can use this to determine how much factory ammo you can buy for the investment in equipment, which you can use to work out how long it's going to take you to break even, or if it's even worth your time to reload for your rifle.

Fill in the fields on the tabbed forms that apply to your situation. If you cast your own bullets, fill in the fields on the Casting Cost tab, which will set the factory bullet cost on the Components tab to zero.

You will also see how many rounds you can expect to reload to cover the cost of the reloading equipment.

The more accurate you are with the numbers you enter, the more meaningful this will be for your situation.
