Rifle bullets are expensive. You will from time to time need to remove a bullet from a loaded round, undamaged, for whatever reason.

I recommend a collet type puller, either RCBS or Hornady, with one insert per caliber that you intend to load for.

Yes, a kinetic hammer is cheap, but it is more suited for handgun calibers. A collet puller can remove the bullet much more easily and won't damage it for re-use. The kinetic hammer is like the beam powder scale, everybody gets one, and everybody puts it away and has to spend more money to buy something that works better.

Just buy the thing that works better to start with.
