The very first thing any Lee Loadmaster owner must do, even if the press is brand new. This is the bolt that is upside down on the side of the frame, that controls the primer seating rocker arm. When you screw it out, it seats primers deeper, when you screw it in, it reduces the seating depth. By default, it has letters on it that are above the surface of the bolt-head. File them off. Very important.
Step 1 was filing the bolt-head smooth. Step 2, put a fired case with the old primer still in on the shellplate.
Turn the bolt in as far as you can. Then, raise the ram fully, and let the bolt out as far as it goes. See if it has any play, and take up all the slack.
From here, only minor adjustments should be necessary.
